Tension Leveller Bearings
The bearings for tension leveller machines are considered backup bearings. BMI manufactures a lot of sizes in different designs and configurations, guaranteeing perfect interchangeability with the original bearings. The backup roll with shaft ensures a wide working surface along with a rolling system made of two or more cages, allowing the plant to reach very high flattening performance at high speed. The distance rings allow good support of axial loads. The series of backup rollers is usually manufactured with two lateral thrust bearings in the inner body, either with balls or rollers, which guarantee very strong support of axial loads.
Perfect interchangeability
BMI guarantees that all manufactured sizes and configurations seamlessly match original bearing components, eliminating the need for modifications and reducing downtime during replacement.
High flattening performance
The backup roll with shaft provides a wide working surface along with a rolling system made of two or more cages, enabling very high flattening performance at high speeds.
Strong axial load support
Distance rings allow good support of axial loads. Additionally, the backup roller series is manufactured with two lateral thrust bearings in the inner body (either with balls or rollers), which guarantee very strong support of axial loads.
