Custom Bearings for Propellor Shafts

BMI’s engineering team has successfully developed a bearing bush for universal joint assembly.

To ensure durability and OE equivalent life, 20MnCr5 material was used for the bearing cups. With a sufficient case depth by case hardening heat treatment and high precision turning with close tolerances, extended life of the bearing cup is ensured.

To get an assurance on uniform distribution of load across all the rollers, improved geometry is applied. Superior steel procured from Europe and Japan is used for production.

The grease used in the bearings enables it to work in an environment between -25C to +60C.

BMI is capable to offer the entire range on short delivery notices and as per dimension requests by the customers.
