SAF and SDAF pillow blocks

BMI SAF pillow blocks are available in cast-iron or cast-steel material with high load capacity spherical roller bearings to meet the tough demands of heavy applications.

The convenient split-housing design simplifies assembly and service. Each pillow block contains an advanced-design spherical roller bearing with improved geometry and raceway finish for maximum load capacity and service life.

Design Features:

1. Split construction allows for easy assembly and disassembly.
2. Caps are removed quickly and easily, preventing damage to the bearing or housing.
3. Integrated housing and bearing design enhances unit lubrication characteristics
4. Multiple sealing options protect against contamination

BMI manufactures pillow blocks in two main styles: SAF and SDAF.

Other types are available on “make to order” basis.

The larger SDAF block is suggested for extreme heavy duty applications.
